The lifeblood of the Carnival is the generosity of local businesses, government and charitable institutions. Without it, we simply wouldn't be able to run it, so we want to thank them publicly for all their donations, past, present and future.

The Farnham Institute Charity is one of the Town’s oldest charities. Established by a local brewer George Trimmer in 1890 the charity makes grants totalling thousands of pounds each year to local groups and organisations and is pleased to sponsor Farnham Carnival. Our local government recognises the benefit to Farnham and its wider community by supporting major events such as Farnham Carnival. The carnival is organised and run on the day entirely by unpaid volunteers but without the generous grants we received from both Farnham Town Council and Surrey County Council we would be unable to put on such an enjoyable show.
