Farnham Carnival 2024 promises to be bumper fun filled edition. However to ensure that the parade runs safely and smoothly for the enjoyment of everyone, we need volunteers to help marshal the crowds! This is where you come in.
If you are interested in volunteering and able to give a couple of hours of your time (you get a front row view!) from 5:30 to 7:30 on 29th June please contact peter.white@farnhamlions.org.uk. Full instruction on duties will be given prior to the event and on the day you will be supported by an experienced Team Leader.
The Farnham Carnival run by the Hedgehogs and Lions will consist of a Parade of around 50 Floats around town and a Fayre filling Gostrey Meadow.
In Olympic year, the theme will be “Keep Farnham Active“ and we will be in partnership with Farnham Sports Council who are celebrating their 50th Anniversary.
As ever we are looking for entries to the Parade with a focus this year on fitness, sport and wellbeing.
So come and join the fun on Saturday 29th June when the town will be thronged with people.
