Join us for all the fun of the Carnival Fayre at Gostrey Meadow this year! The riverside venue is a more relaxed, safer and larger area than our previous Castle Street location. This meant that our last Carnival – back in 2023 – we had a record number of stalls and the people of Farnham and the surrounding area came in their thousands to enjoy it all in the sunshine.

The Fayre runs from 2.00pm until 9.00pm and for much of that time you’ll be entertained from the stage by terrific bands, both local and from further afield, in a wide range of musical styles. There’s always a variety of food stalls and drinks tents to satisfy all tastes and all age groups. And there is also a large children’s play area, including entertainers who’ll keep the younger visitors fully entertained.

With all this, we can guarantee that there’ll be something for everyone – truly all the fun of the Fayre!

1400 Opening of the Fayre

By Farnham Town Mayor Councillor Alan Earwaker

1415 Off The Record

One of the local area’s foremost rock cover bands, OTR has been hammering out classical rock and blues for several decades. Don’t miss the chance to see this awe-inspiring beat combo and enjoy songs you love to hear and dance to, from Bad Company to ZZ Top.

1545 Two Weeks In Nashville

After discovering their sound and identity on a trip to Nashville, TWIN conceived their name as a tribute to the music capital of the world. Best known for their raucous and electric live shows they have headlined grassroot venues across the UK alongside Supergrass, Scouting for Girls, The Hoosiers and Toploader.

1700 True Deceivers

Since 2003 the band have been developing their own distinctive brand of roots rock and Americana. Mixing fiddles, mandolins and guitars with high energy arrangements and tight vocal harmonies, incorporating a growing catalogue of original songs, they have become a regular favourite at festivals across the UK.

1815 Sleeping Dogs

Delivered with authenticity by a bunch of guys who have been playing for a long time. ‘Sleeping Dogs’ will take you on a musical journey from classic high energy rock with songs by the likes of U2, The Who, Pearl Jam and Free, to melodic soul from Bill Withers and Dobie Gray and outright funk from James Brown and The Meters and many more. Wait until you hear the singer . . . He’s the real deal!

Check them out on Facebook at Sleeping Dogs Rock Band

1930 Brobed Stils

Playing a mix of old and new blues, rock, reggae, soul and African music, this popular band, led by Farnham favourite Brodie Mauluka, will bring the day to a close with their special blend of warmth and musical excitement guaranteed to have you dancing until the sun goes down.

2100 Thanks and Goodnight

From Graham Noakes, Carnival Chairman

With huge thanks to Richie Ellmer at Weyfest for organising the live music.

Roll, roll up and get your stall space here! We only have around 40 non-food stall spaces available each year and around 6 food stalls and spaces are taken up quite quickly. We try to minimize stalls offering the same type of products in order to add variety and avoid competition for stall holders, so you need to get in quick – because when they’re gone, they’re gone!
